Lending comes with risk. Make sure you understand what the risks are before you engage in lending to determine if the returns weigh up against the risks for your personal situation. Important risks include:

  • A forced liquidation event of your counterparty may activate too slowly as a result of a sudden price increase of the currency you loaned out. This may result in the partial or total loss of your funds.
  • The currency you're lending in can depreciate and you have no option to sell the respective currency during the time of the loan.
  • The exchange may become insolvent, be ceased or be hacked.

Don't lend more than you can afford to lose. Since you are the main beneficiary of these loans, you are also the main bearer of the risk. We do not assume any responsibility if funds are lost.
